In a country with one of the richest maritime histories in the world, the preservation of historic harbours is critical to safeguard our connections with the past and foster an appreciation for our maritime heritage.

The Heritage Harbours initiative acknowledges the enduring value of ageing ports, whether coastal or inland. Often nestled in modern urban settings, these sites offer untapped potential for revitalising historic structures, moorings, maintenance facilities, and neglected areas.

As specialist marine structural engineers, we are proud to play a key role in the Heritage Harbours initiative through the meticulous restoration of historic ships, preserving their maritime legacy and ensuring they inspire future generations with their timeless craftsmanship and historical significance.
