Working with specialist mesh contractor Locker Architectural, Fenton Holloway developed and detailed the support steelwork and coloured aluminium panel system forming freeform ribbon spirals which swirl up Redcar Seafront’s Beacon structure. Our experience in special steel structures and advanced 3D modelling helped develop a unique steel and aluminium system where every aluminium panel and section of curved steel tube is unique. The Beacon forms the focal point of the redevelopment of Redcar Seafront.
