Expertise
Projects
Harford Manor
Harford Manor was envisaged as a 2000 m² ‘super-home’, a sumptuous residence with all kinds of luxuries built with high-quality materials and finishes. The house has six bedrooms with private bathrooms, as well as staff accommodation, two kitchens, a double height central galleria, dining hall, split level sitting room, cinema, library, indoor swimming pool and leisure complex.
Cardigan Castle
The restoration of the massive retaining walls of Cardigan Castle involved a detailed structural survey, analysis and assessment, with the aim of removing heavy steel section shores erected against the walls in the 1970’s. The removal of the shores was accomplished by the installation of large pre-tensioned ground anchors and a complex wall pinning arrangement.
Allongé, New York
The sculptural installation along Manhattan’s High Line forms a dramatic pedestrian tunnel of almost 40 metres in length. Unlike any other temporary shelter in the city, Fenton Holloway worked alongside Zaha Hadid Architects to design an extremely lightweight structure full of dynamism and movement which appears to be hovering and sweeping over the passer-by’s.
