Cutting Edge Architecture
With a worldwide reputation, the Eden Project is considered one of the top leisure attractions in the United Kingdom, attracting almost a million visitors every year. The project was intended not only as a large-scale botanical garden, but also as a site of cutting-edge architecture and state-of-the-art buildings. Fenton Holloway were appointed to undertake the membrane engineering design for the ice rink and events arena, a 40m-span arch-framed tensile fabric clad construction which constitutes one of the main feature attractions of the site.
